Helicopter tour Zeeland
There is no better way to explore and enjoy the beauty of Zeeland! With beautiful sights of the sea, polders, villages, bridges, water defenses, nature, beaches and seals. On some days it’s possible to also see Rotterdam and Antwerp!
During this flight we are flying passed some iconic locations. At first we pass the Schelphoek. The scars of the ‘Disaster of 1953’ are still clearly visible with the broken dike. Shortly after we will see the ‘Plompe Toren’. This former church tower is dating back centuries ago. It was the centre of a village that got hit by a flood. The only remembrance of the village Koudekerke is this tower.
We continue the route passing the Stormvloedkering. The spectacular currents are clearly visible while flying near it. We can also see the doors of the sea wall. Next is the Veerse Meer. From above the old defense of Veere is clearly visible.
We continue via de ‘Zak van Zuid Beveland’. Iconic with its small polders and green appearance. From there we can already see the glimpse of the white pillars of the Zeeland bridge. The connection between Noord-Beveland and Schouwen-Duiveland. While passing the Zeelandbrug we arrive back in Zierikzee!
