That’s why you choose Prince Helicopters

Certified airline

Prince Helicopters is a recognized airline, certified by the Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management. This certification guarantees that strict requirements are met in the field of safety, reliability and professionalism. In the Netherlands, only a limited number of helicopter companies have this official recognition, despite the wide range that can be found online. This underlines the distinction in quality and compliance with laws and regulations.

Extensive experience

Prince Helicopters has a long and varied history in Dutch aviation. The company was founded in 1974 and started as an agricultural aviation company. Over the years, Prince Helicopters has grown into a fully-fledged helicopter company and is now one of the oldest in the Netherlands.

With decades of experience, we perform a wide range of flight operations, including aerial work, technical maintenance, pilot education and training, and heliport management. This broad expertise makes us a reliable partner for both commercial and specialist aviation services.

Unique location

Our home base is a unique, private heliport just outside Zierikzee, on the beautiful island of Schouwen-Duiveland. The location has its origins in agricultural aviation and has grown into a fully-fledged helicopter operation over the years. What makes our location special is the peace and space: no busy airport, but a quiet and well-organized environment that is ideal for both operational flights and training.

The location combines a practical base with the charm of the Zeeland landscape, allowing us to work efficiently in a relaxed and safe setting.

Flexibility

At Prince Helicopters, the experience of our passengers is central. We understand that a helicopter flight is a special experience, and flexibility is part of that. That’s why we don’t use complicated clauses or strict conditions: if you want to change the date of your flight, that’s no problem in consultation.

We like to think along with you and adapt where possible, so that you can enjoy a unique and comfortable flight without any worries.
