We can imagine that you probably have some questions about helicopter viegen. We are happy to talk to you by telephone or email. Below are the frequently asked questions that we regularly receive.

Bookings

What does a helicopter flight cost?

There are different rates for our helicopter tours. You can find an overview at Tours & Events. Do you want to put together a helicopter flight yourself? That is possible, we are happy to draw up a price indication based on your wishes.

I made a booking but the weather is bad on the day of flying. Will the flight continue?

If the weather is bad (strong wind, rain or poor visibility), the flight will not take place. As soon as we cancel the flight we will let you know as soon as possible. We can usually make a good estimate the day before the appointment. Occasionally we cancel the flight in the morning. You can also cancel the flight yourself if you prefer to fly on a different day. We would be happy to make another appointment with you. There are no costs associated with canceling or moving an appointment.

I would like to move the appointment to another date, is that possible?

That is certainly possible, contact us and we will postpone the appointment for you. There are no costs attached to this.

I want to cancel my helicopter flight. Are there costs involved?

No, unless you have booked a special helicopter flight (for example to Spa Francorchamps).

Is it possible to land on the way?

That is not possible unless it has been arranged and agreed in advance. We are happy to see if it is possible for you. Complete our off site landing form and we will let you know as soon as possible.

I would like to take my son or daughter with me. What is the age limit?

Minimum age is 2 years old. In addition, each child must be able to sit independently in a chair with the straps attached.

The total weight of 3 passengers is about 240 kilograms. Is that a problem?

Yes, it is not permitted to exceed 240 kg.

I would like to take photos, is that allowed?

That is allowed. You will have time to take photos before, during and after flying.

Does it matter, regarding the view, which chair am I in?

It almost doesn’t matter in which seat you are. Our helicopter is designed so that all passengers have fantastic views. For the photographers who, for example, want to photograph a certain location, the best seat is at the window.

I would like to fly from a different location than Zierikzee. Is that possible?

That is possible. However, you must bear in mind higher costs because we have to fly the helicopter to the location. We may soon be in your area at one of our annual events. View our events agenda here.

Helicopter
What type of helicopters do you have?

We operate with the types Enstrom 480 and a Schweizer 300. Our Enstrom helicopters have a turbine engine and can accommodate 3 passengers. All helicopter tours will be conducted with the Enstrom 480.

What if the engine stops?

Helicopters are designed so that if the engine stops, a landing can still be made. We do this by using a car rotation. More information about this technique can be found here.

Are there currently vacancies at Prince Helicopters?

Where do you operate from?

We have been based at our heliport near Zierikzee since 1974. Our address is Gooikensweg 1, 4301PD Zierikzee. We are also regularly found in Rotterdam and Seppe.
